今日は、こんな大きな荷物を抱えて、
じーばー二人で孫娘たちに会いに行きました。
Grandpa and grandma went to see our granddaughters, carrying such a large baggage yesterday.
開けて、なかの家具類をお家に並べました。
We opened it and set the furniture inside in the house.
これはドイツで、息子が生まれたときに義母がヘルプに来てくれて、
そのときに、義母から娘へのプレゼントに買ってもらったお家です。
その娘に、娘二人ができて、長女の菫の5歳の誕生日祝いとして、
これを持って行くことになったのです。
This is the house that my mother-in-law bought for my daughter as a gift when she came to help us when my son was born in Germany. My daughter then had two daughters, and we decided to take this house with us as a birthday present for our 5-year-old elder granddaughter, Sumire.
家もさることながら、なかに置く家具類がとっても優れものです。
今回持って行ったものは、これだけです。

ピアノと洗面台をだぶって撮ったので、少し多く見えますが、
後から買い足したりしたため、とても全部は、このお家には収まりません。

菫は、よく遊んでいましたが、おままごとではなく、
ピクミンやすみっコぐらしの隠れ家として、
戸棚に入れたり、トイレに突っ込んだりしていました。
Sumire played with it a lot, but it wasn't a house-play. As a hiding place for Pikmin and Sumikkogurashi. she put them in the cupboard or into the toilet.
これは、ドイツにいたおかげと、
娘が、おばあちゃんに、この上なくいいものを買ってもらえたおかげです。
それが今回、その娘たちに引き継がれました。
